I have a hard time throwing away anything that even remotely has a chance of being used for something else later on. In this day and age, where recylcing, green living, zero waste fashion, and urban clean up is so prevalent, it only seems fitting to have a basket of yarn tails from previous finished projects waiting to be turned into a new rug, and a bin full of odd quarter and half skeins waiting to be used for patchwork and trim. 

Per usual, all it takes is one look around my collection of odds and ends to find a color scheme that reminds me of a lace repeat that, in turn, puts me in the mood for a little piecework to create a simple bohemian lace trimmed sweater. No pattern, no plan, just a little fun with the leftovers and soon enough... fashion! Happy knitting! :)
